16 – OTHER INFORMATION
This material is a finished floor covering product. Diamond Living, LLC provides a Product Safety Data Sheet for all finished floor covering products.
Product Safety Data Sheets (PSDS) are provided for finished floor covering products based on the “article exemption” found in 29 CFR 1910.1200 (b) (6) (v). An article is defined as: “a manufactured item other than a fluid or particle: (i) which is formed to a specific shape or design during manufacture; (ii) which has an end use function(s) dependent in whole or in part
upon its shape or design during end use; and (iii) which under normal conditions of use, does not release more than very small quantities, e.g. minute or trace amounts of a hazardous chemical and does not pose a physical hazard or health risk to employees.”
There are a wide variety of installation techniques and safe handling guidelines in Diamond Living’s Installation Instructions. Because many floor installations require adhesives, it is recommended that the user review the manufacturer’s recommendations for adhesive spread rate, open time, proper ventilation, safe installation practices, etc. during installation.
